In the two well-equipped Food Preparation Labs students can improve food and meal preparation skills. Specific skills and values related to food and family mealtime are outlined in several courses:
- Prepare all types of food items so they have confidence in selecting and following recipes

- Use equipment appropriately for baking and cooking
- Apply knowledge of nutrition to cooking
