Pre-Internship Information Sheet


**IMPORTANT- Please read the following information carefully to make obtaining your internship easy for yourself and the Internship Office Staff.  Thanks.**

Prerequisites: 9 credit hours of MFHD/HFL core classes.

Number of Credits: The intern and Internship Coordinator determine the number of credits.

Expectations: Internships last for a full semester (minimum 14 weeks F/W, 12 weeks Sp/Su).

Academic Requirements Summary

The internship course can only be added by an add card, available in our office after all paperwork is completed.
    • 1.5 hour weekly class participation (either morning or afternoon class--not both)
    • Text, in-class, and online assignments
    • Written objectives and evaluations
    • Other forms and evaluations
    • Weekly reports
    • Lesson modules
    • Summary and testimonial (one page)
    • Professional development paper
    • Learning portfolio
    • Final Interview
