A social development focus that encompasses the following themes:
· Aggression, victimization, and prosocial behavior in peer and family (marital, parent-child) interactions
· Psychosocial correlates of aggressive behavior and social status among peers
· Cross-cultural similarities and differences in family environment and children’s social development
· Social cognition (social information-processing patterns and biases)
· Gender differences in behavior and social-cognitive mechanisms
· Sexual and gender identity issues
